  Why attack?

  as someone brought up as a jw and been an elder and been disfellowshipped (twice!!!

  ) i find it difficult to understand why ex jws have to attack the religion, yes religion, not cult or sect.

  i am no longer disfellowshipped just do not want to practice anymore.

  I dearly love my brothers, John and Ron, and forcefully shared the truth with them. I later had to apologize for my insensitive manner. However, I never cease praying that they will accept the truth. Since then, Jehovah has educated me, and I have become more tactful when I preach and teach.—Col. 4:6.

  This is how I would reply to AM3 statement:

  I think you still have some very insensitive jerk type of manners, and your making it to the GB is no indication that you have now become a sensitive fellow, in fact quite the opposite. Try lifting your Disfellowshipping arrangement and then come back and tell us how sensitive you have become pal.

  What a fucking moron this guy really is. Just because he is making his imaginary friend and corporation sock puppet Jehovah happy(in his dreams) he now thinks of himself as a real nice sensitive caring guy. Wake up and smell the coffee, your'e the leader of a destructive cult based on a delusions of grandeur and you my friend are a heinous Loser!.

  It's gotta be that the Governing Body is so thick headed and real slow learners because with the internet all these documents like confidential letters to elders and what not have become public and yet they keep printing this crap that will get their asses in a vice legally with no intention to stop? Are these guys dense or fucking what?

  The Governing Body is not very bright(smart). They tell the publishers not to make copies but it ain't gonna make a difference copies will still be made and made fun of on the internet. These guys are always a day late and a dollar short, when it comes to being CEOs of a multi billion dollar corporation they are sure stupid.

  i'm in contact with service and writing and brochure first step there bleeding publishers they can't take it anymore publishers are depressed because they feel they must shun others and they know it's unloving.

  They really need to shut down the whole judicial committee process and stop shunning because the way things are going this might save them lots of future lawsuits, not the ones pending or in the very near future but down the road a little further. It should be a financial decision that these CEOs should make to save their corporation, while it it true they will loose lots more members it is better than going bankrupt from lawsuits that this in house judicial process they have in place opens them up for.

  So I think the end of shunning could happen if these dinosaurs on the GB team take a long hard look at the mess they are in and the need to bite the bullet so to speak.

  I think with these child molestation lawsuits hitting them and becoming public knowledge the Corporation is directing them not to engage in conversation with the house holder to avoid the rank and file member getting the 'news' about it in the door to door work. I think their non conversational new style is all about information control for the common lackey.

  What is the youngest age you know of being DF'd?

  i doubt that nothing has greater impact then a person being df'd - reading the current thread.. i have known many kids df'd at 15, and many baptized at 10 or 11, but none df'd.. i would imagine that the minimum must be about 13.. any younger than 15?.

  A very young girl in my congregation got molested by a ministerial servant and was DF'd at about 12 or 13.
